A completed mitigation and contents-packing project at a home in Mountain Home.
Water entering through a roof affected both levels of a Mountain Home home. Steam-Pro’s work involved contents packing, removal of affected materials, and drying equipment distributed throughout the structure.
On the upper level, the crew removed wall coverings, ceiling materials, insulation, flooring layers and kitchen cabinets. Bathroom fixtures stayed in place. Downstairs, the work included removing ceiling materials and flooring while drying affected walls in place.
Air movers, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers were placed across both levels, including bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, bathrooms and storage areas. The documented work also included emergency tarping and return visits following additional rain.
This project shows the coordination involved when roof-related water damage reaches several rooms and more than one floor. The work described here covers mitigation and contents packing.
